Gilberto Delira Mauricio was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, to Irma Delira and Ruben Mauricio Sr. on November 13, 1978.  Gilbert married Misty Muñoz on July 11, 1998.

He was a dedicated and valued foreman who took immense pride in his work and enjoyed hanging with the crews. His true happiness was found in the company of his beloved family drinking, cooking, and having fun.  He was passionate about his guns and cars. Gilbert's good-natured personality and big smile will be deeply missed by all who love him.

Gilbert was a family man who leaves behind a legacy of love for his wife and children. Gilbert is survived by his wife Misty and five children: son Gilbert Mauricio Jr.; daughters Destiny Mauricio, Genesis Mauricio, Sinai Mauricio, and Storie Mauricio; parents Irma and Ruben Mauricio Sr., brother Ruben Mauricio Jr., and sisters Ruby Mauricio and Krystal Mauricio, and a host of extended family including uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We invite you to join us in remembering Gilbert during the visitation, which will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.  A Celebration of his Life, a testament to his vibrant spirit, will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Chapel of Ennis. Your presence would be a comfort to us during this difficult time.
