Gina Evans was born November 6th, 1966 in Dallas, Texas to Clifford and Imogenene Hedge. She graduated from high school in Dallas and eventually made her home in Ennis where she met and eventually married Paul Evans Jr in 1995.
Gina was a bit of a homebody, but was always up to go out to breakfast or lunch with her friends and family. Her daily schedule usually allowed for her to be home and watch the weekday showing of General Hospital at 1pm. Overall, she was an uncomplicated person.
Gina was especially happy spending time with her grandson Spencer and beloved dachshund, Wally. Both were the light of her life and miss her terribly. Gina was a member of the Cowboy Church in Ennis.

Gina was preceded in death by her husband-Paul Evans Jr, her mother-Imogene Hedge, father-Clifford Hedge, her brother-Dean, step daughter-Janet, and her beloved Lab-Rusty.

Gina is survived by her daughter-Robyn Evans, grandson-Spencer Paul, her brother-Ronnie Hedge, sisters-Katie Cook and Teresa Sims. As well as by her step daughter-Sheila Turner, granddaughters-Traci, Emilie, and Amanda, and grandson-Mikey.
Gina will be especially missed by her greatest friends, Rosalie Wilson and Sue Pierce. Her loss has been most profoundly felt by her constant companion of the last 10 years, her dachshund Wally.


Visitation will be held at J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis, Texas at 6pm Friday, September 10th, 2021. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at 10am at J.E. Keever Mortuary with internment to follow at Myrtle Cemetery.
