Gwendolyn Reeves "Gwen" passed away in Rice Tx on Sunday Oct 31, 2021. Gwen was born in Corsicana, TX on Aug 22, 1956 to George and Verta Wagner. She grew up in Corsicana Tx and on July 2,1982 she married Charles Reeves where they made their home. Gwen was very well known in her community. She was a strong supporter in homing stray dogs and caring for them. Gwen was known as a strong individual who was a loving mother, wife,  grandmother and great grandmother. Gwen worked at Walmart for over 18 years and was well known there. She would always greet her customers. Gwen was loved and will be missed by many. She is survived by her kids; Daughters: Renee Reeves Brooks and husband Tommy, Candi McCormick and husband Jeff, Monica Russell and husband James, Jamie Bernal and husband Josh and Ashley Sanchez and husband Juan; Seventeen Grandkids; 6 Great Grandkids; Sister, Cindy Bergey. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Reeves, Parents: George and Verta Wagner and grandchild Trey Brooks.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 9 a.m. with Rev. Bob Thomas officiating in DFW National Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
