Harold David Taylor, age 61, of Ennis, Tx passed away Saturday August 27, 2022. He was born in Ennis, Tx on June 19, 1961.

David graduated from Ennis High School in 1979. David worked in manufacturing as a production scheduler, supervisor, and purchasing manager for various businesses throughout his life, for the last decade with many dear friends at Old Castle Building Envelope in Grand Prairie, Tx.

David had a passion for his family, his friends, the Ennis Lions, the Oklahoma Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys. He excelled as an athlete growing up and remained passionate about athletics throughout his life.

David is survived by his father Harold Taylor, stepmother Donna, sisters Heather and Melissa, sons Brent and Brad Taylor, daughter-in-law Helen and grandsons Clay and Joseph Taylor. He is also survived by countless friends and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his cherished mother Jo Ann Garrett Taylor and stepfather J.D. Crow Jr.

Our family is very pleased that Lanny Orman, Jimmy Tay, Randy Brumley, James Rejcek, Kermit Canaday and Greg Hobbs will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel, 408 N. Dallas Street in Ennis on Thursday September 1st from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will also be held there Friday September 2nd at 2 pm with a graveside service at Myrtle Cemetery following.

Our family is grateful to know that David is now in the presence of his creator, "for we consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us."
