Harridell Pecot passed away in Ennis, Texas on Sunday October 18, 2020.

Harridell was born in Ennis Texas in 1919 to Harry and Lulu Gardiner. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School. Harridell was married to Neil Morse. Harridell and Neil had four children that they raised in Ennis, Texas. Harridell later married Robert Pecot and moved to Rusk, Texas and then to Dallas.

Harridell worked as a homemaker and in the hospitality industry as a waitress, restaurant manager and country club manager.

She is survived by daughters Kay Kenchel, Gail Serio, and Ann Smith Brown. She was Grandmother to Sal Serio, Tony Serio, Kortney Kenchel, Kash Kenchel, Kelli Carey and Angie Cochrane. She was Great Grandmother to Garrett Cocharane, Kendall Cochrane, Kasey Cochrane and Austin Carey. She is also survived by sisters Lolene Roye and Maryann Porter both of Ennis, Texas. Mrs. Pecot was preceded in death by her son Neil Morse.

Harridell was a lover of family, tradition, history, gardening, shopping, cookies, candy, parties, decorating and the weather. She was a force of nature, a big personality and most importantly she did it her way.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 1 p.m. unitl 1:45 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Myrtle Cemetery with her family officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
