Jacob Lee Dlabaj, 47, passed away in Plano, Texas on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Jacob was born in Ennis, Texas on December 6, 1977, to Mary Jo Glaspy and Randall Lee Dlabaj. Jacob moved with his mother to Mesquite Texas in 1983, where he grew up and then in 1993, lived in Dallas Texas for the remainder of his life.

During summer breaks and following high school, Jacob worked as a carpenter with his uncles and cousins. He continued to work in remodeling until his illness.

Jacob is survived by his mother, Mary Jo Glaspy; his daughter, Madison Jo Dlabaj; son-in-law and best friend, Alberto Cedillo; his stepmother, Katrice Dlabaj; his precious Baby Girl (his dog); and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Jacob will be missed by everyone as he had the best personality and great sense of humor. He was the greatest dad and loved his daughter big.

Jacob is preceded in death by his father, Randall Lee Dlabaj; Grandparents, Joe Wallace Glaspy, Elanore Dlabaj and Stanley Dlabaj.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Heart Association .
