James Wayne Dixon, 68, passed away in Carrollton, Texas on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

James was born November 21, 1953 in Ennis, Texas to Freddie Charles and Edna Faye (Fuller) Dixon. His family home was in Garrett, Texas and he grew up there.  He attended Ennis schools and graduated from Ennis High School in 1972. After high school, he attended Navarro College and the University of North Texas (known then as North Texas State University). After college, he worked for the United States Postal Service until his retirement.
