JAMES "EDDIE" EDWARD EWING- James Edward Ewing, 75, died September 15, 2020, in Ennis, Texas. He was born on October 9, 1944, in Dallas, Texas.

Eddie spent the great majority of his life in the New Orleans and Pensacola areas. He had recently moved to the Ennis area to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He was a fun-loving person and a loving father. He never hesitated to help someone in need. He also knew how to bring a smile to everyone's face by entertaining them through his singing and guitar playing, He had an immense love for Pensacola Beach, Florida.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by His brother Raymond, his brother Billy, and his sister Susie. Surviving are his son, Jeffrey Lee Ewing, and his wife, Ana Ewing; ; his daughter, Jennifer Lee Holland and her husband, Adam Holland; grandchildren Krysta Laabs, Ireland Lee Bramhall, and Christian Bramhall; great-grandchildren, Cade Laabs, Elijah Laabs, and Haylee Laabs, along with nephews and nieces.

A service of remembrance will be held in Pensacola at a future date
