James Donald Fowler, 86, passed away in Waxahachie, Texas on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

James was born in Ennis, Texas on December 22, 1933 to Dorsey and Vivian (Whitfill) Fowler.  He grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School.  He went on to graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Engineering.  James lived in Ennis, Arlington and Fort Worth over the years.  James served his country proudly in the United States Army stationed in Germany.

James worked for TXU and Scarboro Company as an engineer.  He enjoyed motorcycles, dirt bikes, Mig Jets and Flying Jets.

He is survived by one nephew and two nieces; some special friends: Carmen Moyett, Rick Hinton and Samuel Charles and the children of Carmen: George, Sergio, Miguel and Milagros.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Fowler.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
