Jan Mulkey Magee, 85, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Ennis, Texas.

Jan was born December 13, 1935 in Ennis, Texas to Keith and Tina Beth (Wheeler) Mulkey.  Jan grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1954.  On April 9, 1966 she married the love of her life Charles H. Magee, Jr. they originally made their home in Corsicana from 1966 to 1990 when they returned to Ennis.

Jan worked for Gibraltar Life Insurance Company, the Corsicana Livestock Auction and retired from Bank of America.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis where she sang in the choir and the American Business Women's Association.   Jan enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.

Jan is survived by a son, Ret. Col. Robert Keith Magee and wife, Debbie; daughter, Janet K. Magee; four grandchildren; brother, Ret. Col. David K. Mulkey; two sisters: Judy Gray and husband, Jerry and Jo Beth Ellis and husband, Hugh along with a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Craig Krueger officiating.  Pallbearers will be Matthew Magee, Luke Magee, Lt. Col (Ret) Jon Gray, Lt. Col. Marc Mulkee, Laura Ellis, Keith Mulkee and Tyler Mulkee.  Honorary pallbearers ill be 2nd Lt. James Magee and Ross Clayton.  Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
