Janice Lee Taylor age 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Highland Pines Nursing Home in Longview, Texas on Friday July 15, 2022. She was born on November 24, 1948 in Midland, TX. To Robert Kenneth Patterson and Jacquelyn Patterson. She graduated from Ennis High school in 1967. Jan was a creative hairdresser for 35 years. She was also an LVN and worked as a hospice nurse for about 9 years. Left to cherish her memories are her son Luke Wellborn and wife Tasha of Whitehouse, Texas, and her daughter Heather Wellborn of Longview, Texas. She is also survived by three brothers, David Patterson and Marsha Green, James Patterson and wife Barbara, and Thomas Patterson and wife Faith all of Ennis, Texas. Her 8 beloved grandchildren Aidan, Coby, Lainey, Stomi and Brody Wellborn, Miles Gill, Charli and Tucker Martin.

Jan was a fun spirited woman with a magnetic personality. Jan absolutely adored her grandchildren! She spent as much time with them as she could and created many memories.

There will be a memorial service held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church located at 805 W. Baldridge Street in Ennis, Texas.
