Jay Lee Maliska, 42, passed away at Baylor University Medical Center Dallas on May 10, 2022.
Jay was born October 25, 1979 in Ennis, Texas to Monte and Gracie (Gutierrez) Maliska. He lived in Garrett, TX and attended Ennis High School.
Jay was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, being out on the lake, and spending time with family. He was always up for cooking out and listening to music. He worked in the sanitation industry driving a commercial vehicle.
Jay is survived by his daughters: Kaylee Maliska, Mikayla Maliska and significant other, Abram Reyna, Katelyn Maliska, and Kenzie Maliska; parents: Monte and Gracie Maliska; grandchildren: Paxton, Penelope, and Maverick Reyna and Raylee Maliska; sisters: Jessica Maliska and husband, Chris, and Jennifer Young and husband, Clint; and grandparents: Louis and Elsie Maliska.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Maria Gutierrez; and cousin John Smith.
Visitation with Rosary will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 1 p.m at J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis, TX. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m.
