Jean Gilmore Hart also known as "Bambi" passed away suddenly on October 28, 2020.  She will be dearly missed but the love she gave us will remain in our hearts forever.

Jean was born March 13, 1931 in Ennis, Texas, along with her twin sister Joann to Clyde and Josie Gilmore.  She graduated from Ennis High School in 1948 and attended Texas Women's University.   In June of 1952, she married Donald Hart and they made their home in Ennis.  They were married for 46 years until his death in 1998.  Together they had three daughters.  Jean worked with him in his CPA firm for 23 years.  She was active in the community while raising her children and later in various organizations including 20th Century Club, Ennis Regional Hospital, and her bridge groups.  Jean was also active in her church, Church of Christ on Country Club Road.  She enjoyed cooking for and entertaining her family, reading, shopping, playing cards and chickenfoot, and visiting with friends and family.  Above all, her greatest passion was making memories with her children, her grandchildren, and most recently with her precious great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters and their husbands:  Cindy and Lane Harris of Longview, Nancy and Chuck Allen of Ennis, and Julie and Gary Kozlovsky of Mesquite;  her 7 grandchildren and their spouses:  Jess and Emily Harris of Frisco, Lee and Araceli Harris of Longview, Donald and Ericka Allen, Danny and Kacey Allen, and Dylan and Erika Allen, all of Waxahachie, Kyle and Valerie Kozlovsky of San Antonio, and Kara and Brett Holland of Prosper; her 11 great-grandchildren, her nieces and nephew, cousin Betty Hart, and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Hart, and her sister Joann Gilmore Hart.

A family graveside service will be held in Myrtle Cemetery of Ennis on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10 a.m. under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests that donations be made in Jean's memory to the Church of Christ on Country Club Road, the Ennis Public Library, or the charity of your choice.
