Jeffery Wayne Dover, 63, passed away in Mabank, Texas on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Jeff was born in Ennis, Texas on November 6, 1961, to Bill and Jo Frankie (Seaboalt) Dover. He grew up in Ennis, Texas and attended Ennis High School. After High school he began working for Data Documents and later went to work driving a truck for several different trucking companies.

Jeff will be remembered most for the love of fishing, and he loved his family the most. He enjoyed everything about life.

Jeff is survived by his sister, Kathy Dover; brother, Josh Dover; special friend, Dora Merriman; two nephews: three nieces; three great-nephews; three great-nieces; one great-great-nieces and a host of extended family and friends.

Jeff is proceeded in death by his parents, Bill and Jo Dover

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with interment to follow in Grady Cemetery in Byrd-Rankin. Pallbearers are Jon Seat, Luke Seat, Jeremy Simmons, Chad Reynolds, Victor Slovak and Houston Ramsey.
