Jerry LeRoy Maxwell, age 75, passed away bravely and peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on September 30, 2024.

Jerry was born on February 22, 1949 in Dallas, Texas, to Roby Roy Maxwell and Norma LaVerne Foreman. Born in 1949 he grew up and matured fast. He was the eldest of one sister, Vicky Lynn Boothe. When he was 18 he married the love of his life, Becky Oliver. He lovingly protected and cared for her for 57 years. They created a beautiful family and had 3 children: David, Spencer and DeAnn. He loved adventure, having fun and driving anything on wheels. He created fun and memorable experiences for his family on all occasions. Jerry was a hard worker and always provided for his family by being a master plumber. He used his skill to help others as well. He was always very generous in every way. Jerry was full of life, fun loving, friendly to all, had a heart of gold and was so proud of his family.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Roby, mother, LaVerne and sister, Vicky.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Becky, sons: David (Lori) Maxwell and Spencer (Amy) Maxwell; daughter, DeAnn (Jeffery) Greenlee; grandchildren: Colton and Carly Maxwell, Macey, Jett and Lexey Maxwell, Jordan (Gabby), Georgia and Colbie Greenlee; great-grandchildren: Tripp and Cash Maxwell, Myles Maxwell, Gia and Jimi Greenlee.

The family appreciates all of the love, prayers and support during this time.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Creekside Church, Midlothian, Texas .
