Jessica Rios Ricks, 50, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Jessica was born in the Bronx, New York, on December 27, 1971, to Albert and Virginia Rios.  Jessica grew up in the Bardwell-Rankin area and she graduated from St. John High School.  On December 7, 2017, she married Tim Ricks and they made their home in Ennis.

Jessica worked for American Airlines for twenty years as a call center supervisor.  Jessica loved to sing, dance and cook.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Tim Ricks; three brothers: Albert Rios and wife, Delfina, John Rios and wife, Paula and Billy Rios and wife, Charlotte; two sisters: Angie Sherrill and Della Blain and husband, Todd; nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 10 a.m. in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father John Dick as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Italy Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

Pallbearers will be: John Rios, Jr., Anthony Cantrell, Juan Calderilla, Bill Vallejo, Andrew Peña II, and James Lockhart.
