Jimmie Sue Svehlak, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in Ennis, Texas.

Sue was born in Corsicana, Texas, on June 27, 1945, to Reuben David and Ada Mae (Carroll) Richards. She grew up in Emhouse, Texas, and graduated from Corsicana High School in 1963. On February 3, 1989, she married Kenneth Svehlak and they made their home in the Ennis area.

Sue worked for Data Documents for thirty-eight years as a plate maker and for Ennis Business Forms also as a plate maker for five years. Sue was a member of the sewing club at the Cowboy Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, needle point, quilting. Jimmie loved traveling to the State Parks.

Sue is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Kenneth Svehlak; son, Charles Wayne Prince; brother, Don Richards; sisters: Betty Fulton, Sandra Lou Wiley and Carol Ann Bryant along with a host of extended family and friends.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents; son, Joe David Prince; brothers: Bill Richards, and David Richards along with sister, Barbara Cantrell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery with Gary Johnson officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
