Jo Ann Menne passed away to be with The Lord, May 2, 2022.

Jo Ann Menne was born November 26, 1948 in Greenville, TX to Homer L. and Florene Armstrong. Jo Ann grew up in Kerens, TX and attended Mildred High School. She was employed as a heavy equipment operator and at Walmart before she became a long haul truck driver for Prime Trucking.

Jo Ann was a member of Eureka Baptist Church and a member of the American Legion. Her family was the center of her life. She loved collecting dolls and crosses. She also enjoyed all the chickens in her yard.

Jo Ann is survived by two sons: Jeff and his wife Sherry, Sammy and his wife Sherry; two daughters: Lisa and her husband Al Flores, and Deanna Shumate; brother: Jackson Armstrong; two sisters Lexia Armstrong and Lois DeRusha. With a bountiful 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents: Homer and Florence Armstrong, a son, George Shumate, Jr.; a grandson, Kevin Baker and one granddaughter Lindsay Shumate.

Services will be on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel with Rev. David Harness officiating under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
