Jo Ann Krajca Mounts, 79, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Dallas, Texas.

Jo Ann was born March 26, 1946, to the late Joseph F. Krajca and Mary (Pavlacka) Krajca, in Ennis, Texas.  She was a graduate of Saint John's High School. JoAnn worked for EBF,  Dairy Mart, Wagon Wheel Restaurant, and retired as a Bartender for The Ritz at the Quality Inn in Ennis.

She was a strong loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed working in her beautiful yard, bingo and chatting on the phone with her large family.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents Joseph F. Krajca and Mary (Pavlacka) Krajca; sisters Beatrice Krajca, Mary Dlabaj, Geraldine Laza, Olga Janicek, and Emilie Elbert; brothers Joe Z. Krajca, Norbert Krajca, and Raymond J. Krajca; and son-in-law Michael Moreno.

She is survived by her children, Julie Moreno, Shawn Mounts and wife Kimberly; sister Jan Ozymy and husband Rudy, brother Alphonse Krajca and wife Doris.

An incredible grandmother to five grandchildren, Mikaela Smith and husband Devin, Evan Moreno and wife Celeste, Madison Mounts, Aric Mounts, Kirsten Franklin and husband Evan. Great grandmother to her shining lights Lynnox Smith, Daxton Smith, Denver Moreno, Kaila Franklin and Eiam Franklin, and many nieces and nephews.

Per her request, there will be no formal funeral arrangements.  A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 7 P.M. at J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis.
