JoAnn Fluker, 87, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Ennis, Texas.

JoAnn was born in Ennis on March 4, 1933 to Hubert G. and Allye (Pyle) Self.

She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1951.  She went on to attend Baylor University for two years.  On September 21, 1987 she married Hardy Fluker and they made their home in Ennis.

JoAnn worked for Creslenn Oil Company as a secretary and for Southern Pacific Rail Road as a clerk.  She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.  JoAnn enjoyed spending time with her family, music, playing the piano, traveling and loved her cats.

She is survived by sons: Paul Toal and wife, Carolyn and Pete Toal and fiance, Alison; grandchildren: Paul, Jennifer, Annie, Kailey, Allye Gracie, and Samatha; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joan Self; two nieces and a host of extended family and friends.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hardy, a grandson, Aaron, Paul M. Toal's late wife, Trisha , and a brother, Pete Self.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.  Pallbearers will be Paul Michael Toal, David Smith, Andy Thomas, Lee Stone, Zac Whittington and Troy Phillips.  Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
