Joe Ben Munn, 85 years old, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 9, 2022.

Joe Ben was born March 5, 1937 in Ennis, Texas. He was the son of W.T. Munn Sr. And Elsie J. Wheeler. He graduated from Ennis High School in 1956.

He worked for 15 years at Munn's Building Supply in Ennis as a home builder and land developer. He worked for Southern Pacific and then Union Pacific as a brakeman and conductor for 34 years.

He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Ennis and The Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Ennis.

He is survived by his wife Nell Munn for 63 years. Two sons: Scott Munn and his wife Donna. Joey Munn and his wife Amenia. Two grandchildren: Jessica and Hudson and many nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Clinton and James Nichols, Billy Munn and sister Betty June Munn.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
