John Clint Hill, Jr., (J.C.) 78, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 in Ennis, Texas.

He was born June 25, 1944 to John Clint Hill, Sr. and Ruby (Walker) Hill. He lived in Pleasant Grove, Texas until the age of 12, then moved to Ennis, Texas and graduated from Ennis High School. On July 9, 1961 he married Patricia Dlabaj, and worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T where he retired after 32 years of service in June 2021.

J.C. was hardworking, generous, never met a stranger, and made friends wherever he went. He loved spending time with his family and liked to cook for them. He listened to the "Polka Show" every Sunday, and watched old Westerns.

J.C. is survived by his son, Jeff Hill and wife Nancy; daughter, Tammy Cardinal; grandchildren: Lacey Hill, Eric Hill and Jonathan Cardinal; sister, JoAnn Kasten and brother James (Jim) Hill.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia of over 59 years; infant son, Christopher; both parents, John Sr. and Ruby; sisters: Berniece and Betty; and brother, Michael.
