Joy Ann Wooldridge, 65, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.

Joy was born in Portland, OR on December 30, 1958, to Jack Van and Elizabeth Muriel (McClellan) MacKinnon. Joy grew up in Lancaster, Texas and graduated from Lancaster High School. On June 30, 2010 Joy married Garry Whaley and they made their home in Palmer, Texas.

Joy worked for over twenty years for AT&T as a manager before retiring in 2022. Joy enjoyed attending The Avenue Church in Waxahachie, Texas. Joy loved spending time outside working in her yard.

Joy is survived by her husband, Garry Whaley; daughters: Krysatal Mendez and Erin Lopez; eleven grandchildren; brother, Bob MacKinnon and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jeff MacKinnon.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis, Texas.
