Juanita S. Roberts, 88, went home to meet her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 2, 2020 from Ennis, Texas.

Juanita was born in Midland, Texas on March 30, 1932 to Searcy M. and Addie (Mooney) Smith.  Juanita grew up in Rosser and graduated from Scurry-Rosser Schools.  On September 21, 1949 Juanita married F. M. "Buck" Roberts and they made their home in Alsdorf, Texas.

Juanita was a gentle soul with a giving spirit.  She was a member of Anthony Drive Baptist Church where she devotedly served as Vacation Bible School Coordinator for more than 40 years she also worked in the Sunday School Department for many years.  Juanita enjoyed sewing.  She worked with her husband on the family farm and was the family farm bookkeeper.

Juanita is survived by a son, James M. Roberts; three grandchildren: Nathan, Sara and Lee; three great-grandchildren: Madison, Kris and Trinity; several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Buck, a daughter, Nancy and her husband, Billy and two sisters: Salora and Pat.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Todd Peavy and Matthew Walker officiating.  Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
