Karin Usener Colvin passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2025, at the age of 80 years old.

Karin was born in Wetzlar, Germany on August 25, 1944, to parents Albrecht and Katarina
Usener. She was raised in Wetzlar, Germany.

On May 3, 1962, Karin married Jeffrey G. Colvin. After Jeff retired from the U.S. Army, they
moved from Germany and resided in Duncanville, Texas from 1978-1998. They moved to
Jeff's hometown of Ennis, Texas in 1998.

Karin was preceded in death by her parents, Albrecht and Katarina Usener and siblings
Anita Krull, Liesel Usener, Ellen Wendt, Bubbi Usener, Walter Usener, and Willie Usener.
Karin is survived by her children, Jeff (Teresa) Colvin of Midlothian, Texas and Danny
(Brenda) Colvin of Midlothian, Texas; grandchildren, Trisha Colvin, John Colvin, Ben Colvin,
and Ryan Colvin; great grandchildren, Alex Colvin, Jordan Colvin, and Joseph Colvin, greatgreat
grandchild, Chance Colvin; and brother, Harald Usener.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Myrtle Cemetery of Ennis, Texas with Rev. Matt Walker officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
