Kaye Kirkpatrick was born on October 21, 1937, in Dallas, Texas, and passed away on December 21, 2022, in Houston, Texas.

As a small child, Kaye lived in Ennis, Texas, and moved to Homewood, Alabama at about the age of nine. Kaye resided there and then in Mountain Brook, Alabama, until she moved to Corsicana, Texas, in 1988. After several years, Kaye moved to Pensacola, Florida and then in 2011 she moved to Austin, Texas, where she resided until she moved to Houston, Texas, in 2020.

Kaye was preceded by in death by her parents, Lillian and Arthur Maurice Kirkpatrick, her older brother, Maurice McCain Kirkpatrick, her sister-in-law, Lee Nolen Kirkpatrick and her great-niece, Stephanie Kay Kirkpatrick.

She is survived by her younger brother, George Dunkerley Kirkpatrick and his wife Penny of Madison, Mississippi, and her nephews Neil Dean Kirkpatrick and his wife Silvia of Sugar Land, Texas, Steven McCain Kirkpatrick and his wife Peggy of Corsicana, Texas and Gregory Nolen Kirkpatrick and his wife Nancy of Sherman, Texas.

Kaye is also survived by her great-nieces Kelly Spencer and her husband Matt Davis of Plano, Texas, Lindsay Elizabeth and her husband Greg Millerick of McKinney, Texas, Emily Katherine and her husband Brett Hensley of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and great-nephews Brian Nolen Kirkpatrick and his wife Caroline of Fort Worth, Texas, Neil Dean Kirkpatrick, Jr of Austin, Texas, Henry McCain Kirkpatrick and his wife Julia of Dallas, Texas, and Rebecca Judith Kirkpatrick of Sugar Land, Texas, and two great-great-nephews and two great-great-nieces.

Kaye enjoyed traveling and socializing in the communities where she lived.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Interment to follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
