Kelley (Green) Tidwell, 64, of Ennis, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, following a battle with cancer. We are saddened and heartbroken; we will miss her dearly.

Kelley is preceded in death by her father, J. Hugh Green; her grandparents, Arlis and Hazel Green, and Rip and Nieta Warren.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Gary. Her wonderful children, son Corey Tidwell, and wife Ashley; daughter, Kari Newman, and husband Josh. Her greatest joy in life, her precious grandchildren, Ryanne, Grayson, Ryder, Rylee, Loganne and Rylan. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Stevens, brother, Kirby Green (wife Sharla), and sister, Jalea Green.

Following graduation in 1979 from Ennis High School, she worked for 10 years as a legal secretary for McCarty, Wilson and Mash in Ennis. She later began working for the law firm Henry, Oddo, Austin & Fletcher, where she devoted 21 years prior to retirement in 2018.

She loved the Texas Longhorns and was a huge supporter of Ennis Lions Athletics. The most precious joy in her life was following her grandchildren; whether it was sporting events or receiving milestone achievements, she was always present. She was affectionately known as "Meme", a term that resonated deeply within her heart.

She had a spitfire personality and would tell it like it is, whether the truth was easy or hard. Her favorite color was red. She loved the outdoors; spent countless hours working in her flower beds, potting plants or watching her grandkids swim and play. She looked forward to family vacations every summer and having all her kids and grandkids under one roof.

Kelley very much loved Jesus and enjoyed her membership at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ennis where was active in the children's ministries.

The love of her life was Gary and from that love, they created a FAMILY; where life begins and love never ends. She leaves behind a legacy of LOVE. A love that will be remembered for generations to come.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kids Town-Tabernacle Children's Ministry , located at 1200 Country Club Rd., Ennis, TX 75119 .

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., and celebration of life immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church , located at 1200 Country Club Rd., Ennis, TX 75119 .
