Mr. Kenneth Herman Carter, age 59, of Corsicana, passed away peacefully at home on Jesus' birthday, December 25, 2021.

Kenny has born March 2, 1962 in Greenville, Texas. A son of Herman and Margaret Carter.

He has been reunited in Heaven and preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Carter.

Kenny was a Christian, a loving son, a wonderful father, an entertaining grandfather, and an amazing guitarist. He loved playing his guitar for God and anyone else that would listen, and teaching guitar to anyone that wanted to learn. His loveable spirit and sense of humor will be missed by all that knew him and his contributions to the Grace Community Church Band will be difficult to replace.

Kenny is survived by his father, Herman Carter; his sister, Kimberly Emmett and her children, Emily Carter, Derek Emmett, and Bryan Emmett, Jr.; his son Joshua Carter and his wife Kristi; daughter, Anna Ogden and her husband, Drew; daughter, Kristin Hollingsworth and her husband Derek; and former spouse and mother of his children, Debra Carter. He also leaves behind many grandchildren that will forever cherish the time they had with their "Papa/Pops"; Michaela Cochran, Bryan Hollingsworth, Matthew Hollingsworth, Carter Darby, Liam Barron Hollingsworth, Abbie Carter, Jack Darby, Lillian Hollingsworth, and Caden Ogden, all of whom he loved with his whole self.

He also leaves behind many other family and friends who will miss him and that he loved with all of his heart, including his girlfriend Terri Bailes.

Visitation is from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 at Grace Community Church and his Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28th at Grace Community Church. Steve Hayes will officiate.
