Kenneth Wayne Larson passed away suddenly at his home in Corinth, Tx on December 9th, 2025

He was born on May 30th, 1957 in Anchorage, Alaska to Paul Larson of Minnesota and Gertrude Goins of West Virginia. His family was stationed briefly in Louisiana then primarily in Germany before eventually returning stateside to Duncanville where he graduated.

Kenneth spent his career as a skilled refinisher & woodworker. He dedicated over 20 years between Restoration Specialist, Park Cities restoration, and Mannheim Galleries before starting his own company, Hide and Seek Refinishing in 2001.

He married Stephania Phillips Privett on June 23, 2000 in Texas. In their twenty-five years together they raised four children, and lovingly spoiled 10 grandchildren. Additionally, they shared a love for dogs and the outdoors with many camping trips and river adventures throughout Colorado and Arkansas.

Ken was a gifted artist and talented drummer known for being the life of any party. He was honest, hardworking, and the first to help anyone in need. He enjoyed a number of creative hobbies including designing treehouses, creating stained glass, building model train villigas, go-kart racing, sharpshooting, and general tinkering. Of all his interests, being with his loved ones at their family farm, sharing stories around the campfire and watching fireworks was his favorite.

Ken was dedicated to his family and is survived by his: spouse, Stephania, his children Rebecca, Katie, Troy, and Danielle as well as their spouses, Craig, Chris, and Elizabeth, his grandchildren Ryke, Selah, Norah, Maverick, Eli, Ava, Bishop, Olive, Katerina, and Kai, his brothers Keith and Tim, his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, an extensive extended family his in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gertrude, as well as two older brothers, Ward and Mike.

Kenneth was an organ donor whose last wish was to be donated to science for future education & research. A memorial service will be held at 2PM on December 20th at J.E. Keever Mortuary. A gathering will take place after the service at the Larson family farm.

The family wishes to thank their communities for the support given during this difficult time.
