Korena L. Perry, age 50, passed away on June 26, 2021 at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on July 29, 1970 in Central City, Nebraska to Ernest Aguallo and Dorothy "Joanne" Aguallo.

As a child, Korena learned the value of hard work. Those who knew Korena best could agree she had an incredible strong will and was a fighter. This feistiness served her well through her years. If she was not being onery, one might have wondered what was wrong with her.

She took on many ventures and put everything she had into whatever she did. A lifelong dream of Korena's was to go to college and this dream was realized in June of 2017 when she earned her Associates of Arts degree. This was an accomplishment she fought to achieve and was incredibly proud of.

Family was incredibly important to Korena and her boys were her entire world. She lived for their baseball and bowling adventures and was always ready for a trip to watch them play. Her friends knew if it was baseball season, the only place to see her was going to be the ball field

Korena was a kind and beautiful soul. She could light up any room with her amazing smile, and her one-of-a-kind laugh could be heard before she was ever seen. She was a free spirit who loved getting together to hang out with her circle of friends and that circle was large. Korena made friends wherever she went. There was no such thing as "quickly running into the store" if Korena was with you as she would know and speak to almost everyone in the building!

Anyone who came into her life was instantly touched by her and forever changed because of her. She was immensely loving and caring and did so with her whole heart. She was dedicated to her loved ones, and always willing to help those less fortunate. If she, had it to give, she would. If she didn't have it, she would find a way.

Korena is survived by her loving husband, James Perry; her father, Ernest Aguallo; her two brothers, Ernie and John Aguallo; her two sons, Jordan and Jacob McCracken, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

There will be a viewing for the family on July 1st, 2021 at Keevers Funeral home at 408 N Dallas Street in Ennis Texas from 6 to 8 PM and a small service on July 2nd at 10am also at Keevers Funeral home.

Flowers, cards, etc. can be sent to the funeral home on or before July 1st or they can also be to the family home at 233 Sugar Creek Lane, Saginaw TX 76131.
