L. T. Hinchliffe, 87, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at home with his family in Ovilla, Texas.

L. T. was born in Mexia, Texas on February 7, 1933 to Wilford and Lois (Wood) Hinchliffe. He grew up in Mexia and Oak Cliff attending Lisbon Schools. In 1985 he married Linda Bush and they made their home in Ovilla, Texas.  L. T. served his country proudly in the United States Army in the Chemical Corp.

L. T. worked for over thirty years for R & L Plating and for Moderon Oldsmobile in sales for over fifteen years.  He was a member of the Baptist church.  L. T. loved spending time with his family and farming.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Linda R. Hinchliffe; sons: Sammy Hinchliffe and wife, Kristin, Randy Hinchliffe and wife, Leah Rankin and James Neal; daughter, Lisa Overton and husband, Ricky; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
