Larry Gene Santos, 75, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Princeton, Texas.

Larry was born in Ennis, Texas, on October 13, 1947, to John and Beatrice (Vitovsky) Santos. Larry grew up in Ennis, Texas, and graduated from Ennis High School in 1965. On September 12, 1969, Larry married the love of his life, Karen Wells and after living in Ennis, they moved to Dallas.  Larry served his country proudly in the United States Marines serving in Vietnam.

Larry served the UAW for thirty years as the representative with, the Chrysler Corp. Larry enjoyed reading, enjoying a good cigar, and fishing. He loved watching movies and was a big fan of the Notre Dam Football Team. Family was so important to Larry, and he loved each one with all he had.

Larry is survived by his son, Larry Todd Santos and wife, Valarie; daughters: Shannon Diaz and husband, Rick and Nicole Gonzalez and husband, Israel; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Santos; sisters: Darlene Gifford and Eva Snipes along with a host of extended family and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Karen and sister, Ginger Safar.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. with Rosary at 4 p.m. in the chapel of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
