Lee Bailey Powell, 66, of Palmer, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2025.

Lee was born on March 17, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Panhandle High School in 1977 and went on to build a successful career in the aerospace industry, where he worked for more than 25 years with Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, and Bombardier. His work reflected his dedication, skill, and pride in doing things right.

Sports were one of Lee's greatest passions. He was a loyal supporter of TCU and Palmer, cheering them on above all else, with the Dallas Stars and Mavericks close behind. A lifelong Cowboys fan, he remained devoted—though admittedly a bit jaded. His love for sports was matched by his love for spirited conversations, friendly debates, and time spent with family.

Lee was a devoted Christian whose faith grew deeper later in life, guiding him with humility, gratitude, and grace. Above all, he cherished his family and the life they built together.

He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Powell, and his mother, Sandra Powell.

Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Powell; his sons, Adam Powell, his son Ezekiel, and Drew Powell; his daughter, Heidi Alexander and family; his brother, Dee Powell and family; and his sister, Melnye Stone.

Lee will be remembered for his loyalty, his quiet strength, his faith, and the love he shared so freely with those around him.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2 p.m. in J,.E., Keever Mortuary Chapel in Palmer.
