Lee Roy Vrzalik, beloved husband of Helen Rutherford Vrzalik, passed from this life on June 5, 2024. He was born on a snowy day, February 18, 1942, to Charlie F. and Julie Vinkler Vrzalik in Ennis, Texas.

Lee Roy attend school at St. John Elementary and Ennis High School. It was his honor to serve the United States in the Navy aboard the USS Yorktown from August 1960-August 1964.

On March 21, 1975, Lee Roy and Helen were joined together in marriage.

Lee Roy was a talented mechanic for automobiles and farm equipment, including his brother's bulldozer back in the day.

He is preceded in death by his parents and many members of Helen's family who he loved as his own.

Lee Roy is survived by his wife, his brother and sister-in-law, Charlie J. and Josephine Vrzalik, niece, Donna Vrzalik Stagner, one great nephew, Justin Cole Dodson, one great-great nephew and one great-great niece. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Glenn and Susan Rutherford, sister-in-law, Judie Rutherford.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis at 10 a.m. with Rev. Bob Thomas officiating.
