Leo Singleton passed away on, Monday, February 27, 2023, at the age of 92. He was born in India, Texas on August 3, 1930, to Ruth and Lee Singleton. He graduated from Ferris High School in 1948. In 1952 he served two years in the Miller Mites Air Craft and eight years in the reserves for the United States Army where he served proudly. In 1957 he married Thelma Walker and was married to her for 57 years.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Bobbie Hill of Waxahachie and a number of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee W. and Ruth Singleton; sister, Lucille Katherine Singleton Beavers; brother, Glen Singleton; brother-in-law; David Beavers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from noon until 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. James Patterson officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh Loera, James Cox, Ney Blackburn, Ronnie Adams, Gary Johnson and Greg Williams. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
