Leta Vee Harrison (89) of Ennis, Texas, passed peacefully in her sleep on September 10, 2020. She was born on April 15, 1931, to James and Lilac Ragan in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. Leta graduated salutatorian from Corsicana High School in 1948. She worked for Collin Street Bakery, Donovan-Galvani, and for Just for Peanuts. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ennis, Texas.

On July 1, 1955, she married Robert D. Harrison, Sr. Together, they had three children: Robert D. "Bunt" Harrison, Jr.; Sherri D. Harrison (Longoria); and Levi "Bart" Harrison. Leta enjoyed spending time with her family, talking on the phone, keeping up with the Ennis Lions Football team (and the Kardashians), watching true crime shows on TV, and collecting all things strawberry.

Leta is survived by her children: Dwane Harrison and wife Betty Kay of Roatan, Honduras; Sherri Longoria and husband Johnny of Ennis, Texas; and Bart Harrison of Ennis, Texas; her step-grandchildren: Jason Creekmore of Mesquite, Texas; Justin Creekmore of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren: Mallory Harrison of Ennis, Texas; Dr. Colby Walters (Longoria) of Waco, Texas; Chelsea Harrison Thompson of Houston, Texas; and Allie Petitt (Harrison) of Ennis, Texas; as well as her great-grandchildren: Beaux Walters, Mila Pettit, and baby Zmolik.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, ex-husband, and her great-grandchild, Marley Ryan Zmolik.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at JE Keever Mortuary in Ennis, Texas, from 6-8pm. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at JE Keever Mortuary at 2pm, with interment at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis, Texas. Services will be led by Rev. Dr. John Blewitt of First Presbyterian Church of Ennis. Pallbearers will be Cade Zmolik, Matthew Pettit, Jason Creekmore, Justin Creekmore, Philip Kiser, Jeff Dixon, and Kyle Harrison. Honorary Pallbearers are Sean Walters, Bill Rose, Steve Rose, Richard Harrison, Raymond Kiser, Michael Kiser, and Jer Ragan.
