Letha Sue Chesley, 77, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Mineral Wells, Texas.

Letha was born in Dallas, Texas on November 30, 1943 to R.D. and Ernestine (Hastings) Roderick.  Letha grew up in Pecan Gap and graduated from Fanningdale High School in 1962.

Letha worked for HEB Grocery Store for twenty years as a cashier, for J.E. Penney for ten years in sales and for Macy's Department Store for ten years in sales.  She enjoyed crochet especially making baby blankets for family and friends.  Watching the Mavericks play basketball was one of favorite pass times.

Letha is survived by daughters: Tammy Howard and husband, Ricky and Julie West and husband, Steve; grandchildren: Erin Williams and husband, Seth and Trey Davis; great-grandchildren: Weston Williams, Blaze Williams and Ranger Williams; sister, Linda Matthews and husband Will Ed along with a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Christopher Mark Chesley and a sister, Virgina Roderick.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Pecan Gap Cemetery with Rev. Michael Wood officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
