Lewis E. Prachyl, Major, US Army, Retired born in Bardwell, Texas, August 17, 1926 to Frank J. and Janie Lanicek Prachyl, died on Monday, November 2, 2020 in Ennis, Texas.

Lewis married Sara Connolly on June 4, 1949 in Holy Redeemer Church, Ennis, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, George, sisters: Helen, Emily, Wilma and Janie.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Prachyl; sons: David, Paul Gregory, Martin and wife, Juanette Prachyl; daughters: Deborah and her husband, Curtis Hawk, Judith and her husband, James Hejny; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, sisters: Adele and Georgia.

Private interment will be held in the Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
