Linda Kay (Gary) Greenlee, 72, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Linda was born in Tacoma, Washington on April 25, 1949, to Augustas Charles and Garnet Francis (Anderson) Gary.  She grew up in Tacoma and Palmer.  Linda attended school in Tacoma School System and graduated from Palmer High School in 1967.  On June 19, 1964, she married the love of her life Bill Greenlee.  They lived in Palmer before moving to the family farm in 1968.

Linda worked for Travelers Insurance, Continental / CNA for 25 years as an Insurance Underwriter, Rekerdres Insurance Agency where she was the Co-Owner and Vice President for over 20 years.  Linda was a member of the Avenue Church in Waxahachie and the Ennis Garden Club.  Her love of flower gardens buying renovating homes, and vegetable gardening was very evident by her great harvests.  She was an excellent host at their Bed and Breakfast.  She enjoyed working with stained glass, hunting with family and most of all spending time with family, friends and playing cards with grandkids.

Linda leaves behind her loving family including her husband of fifty-seven years, Bill Greenlee; daughter, Lecia Brewer and husband, Paul; five grandchildren: Spencer, Paige, Jace, Carlee and Kinley; five great-grandchildren; brothers: Robert Gary and wife, Donna and Jan Gary and wife, Pat along with a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, and a daughter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Palmer Cemetery with Mark Miller officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
