Martha Lurline Rabe, 99, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Ennis, Texas.

Lurline was born in Boyce, Texas, on May 18, 1925, to Chattom Coffee and Ruth Mae (Eason) Merritt. Lurline married the love of her life, William "Bill" Rabe, Jr. on August 23, 1943, while he was home on leave during WWII.  When Bill returned to duty Lurline went to work in Dallas at an Insurance Company.

Lurline worked as an office administrator for Ennis Business Forms for over thirty years. Lurline was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to work in her yard, cook and sew. Lurline's hobbies were playing dominos and forty-two, golfing, playing and watching basketball and football. Lurline loved spending time with her family.

Lurline is survived by her daughter, Jan Ellen Wilkinson and husband Bobby; grandchildren: Carla Rolland and husband, Joel, Lance Wilkinson and wife, Jennifer, and Hector Estrada; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Abygail Rolland and Trey and Hayden Wilkinson; special friends and neighbors: Tim and Janice Cooper and Marcie and Alan Pierce; her special caretaker, Helen Holmes and a host of extended family and friends.

Lurline is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. with Dennis Brearley officiating.  Pallbearers will be Lance Wilkinson, Joel Rolland, Trey Wilkinson, Hayden Wilkinson, Hector Estrada and Alan Pierce.
