Lynn Arden Sibley, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 surrounded by his loving family in Dallas, Tx at the age of 84.

He was born to Shirley and Quata Sibley on March 23, 1939. He grew up in Ennis where he worked on the family farm. He played football and was a FFA LoneStar Farmer and graduated from Ennis High School in 1957. He went to work for Powells Machine Works right out of high school where he spent 16 years and also managed Sibley Texaco Service Station. He opened Lynn's Machine Shop. He was enlisted in the National Guard Reserve.

He married the love of his life, Rhea Ann Davidson in 1963 and they had three beautiful children.

He was passionate about coaching little league baseball and every player held a special place in his heart. He bled maroon and was a LionBacker President. He and his wife, Rhea supported every sporting event and during football season you could always find them on the top row of the 50 yard line.

After retiring from TAMKO, Lynn enjoyed antique shopping with his brothers and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Rhea Ann Sibley, their three children: Ky Sibley, Guy Shaw Sibley and his wife LouAnn, and Sam Conner Sibley; Six grandchildren: Erin, Britney, and Haden Sibley, Katie Jones-Fowler and her husband Brandon, Reid Sibley-Proffitt and her husband Carson, and Neely Pierce and bonus grandson, Mark Carrillo. He was blessed with seven great grandchildren: Rosie, Josiah, Axel and Knox, Journey, and Ellie along with Rylee due to arrive early May. His siblings: Mike Sibley, Edd Sibley, Larry Sibley, Judy O'Brien and Anita Spicer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Joe Dean and Darrell Sibley.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9 , 2023, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with services starting at 2:00pm in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis.
