Mace Henry Bammann passed away at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas on December 29, 2023 surrounded by both of his children.
Mace was born on February 1st, 1947, in Greene Iowa to Ellis and Lucy Bammann.  After graduating high school, he joined the Army and served in Vietnam. While stationed in NY he met Susan Babcock, they were married in Nashua, Iowa in 1968 at The Little Brown Church in the Vale.  Mace received an honorable discharge from the Army in 1971, and they both made their home in Black River, NY.  He went to work for New York Air Brake as a machinist until his retirement and relocation to Waxahachie, TX in 2012.  In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and camping.
Mace is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan Babcock Bammann, his two daughters: Jennifer Zmolik, her husband Shane Zmolik, Debra LeFevers, her husband Christopher LeFevers; and 6 grandchildren.
A private service for immediate family will be held at a later date.
