Malcolm Roy Glaspy was born in Dallas, Texas on September 19, 1967, and the Lord called him home on December 29, 2024 after running his race with Pancreatic Cancer. He is preceded by his father, Jerry Glaspy who passed away in 2023. He leaves behind his loving wife, Nora Glaspy, his two daughters, Samantha Smith and Kristyn Glaspy; his son-in-law, Jake Smith, and his two grandchildren, Violet Smith and Liam Smith; his mother, Judy Russell, his step-father, Wendell Russell, his sister, Mary Glaspy, and his nephew, Darren Rivers; his step-mother, Betty Glaspy, his step-brother James Robinson, his sister-in-law, Alicia Robinson, and his nieces and nephews Aaron Robinson, Addie Robinson, Lauren Geades, and Evan Geades.

Malcolm spent the first years of his life in Ellis County on Sand Lake Farm along the Trinity River. His father farmed the land and raised commercial cattle. Malcolm has always loved the outdoors, and for the rest of his life, he would go back to Sand Lake to fish, hunt, and enjoy the outdoors.

He moved to Ennis, Texas in 1971 when he was four years old. He wanted to continue living on their farm and told his mother he was unhappy living in the city. He graduated from Ennis High School in 1986 and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, graduating with an associate's degree.

In 1997, he managed a hunting lodge in San Fernando, Mexico and lived in McAllen, Texas where he met his lovely wife, Nora. They were neighbors in their apartment complex when they first met and celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this past June.

Malcolm spent his days hunting and fishing every chance he could and enjoying the outdoors. His favorite place to be was Sand Lake and made it out there to spend time with his friends and family multiple times a week. He not only enjoyed hunting and fishing at Sand Lake but also enjoyed spending time around the fire with his family and friends and telling stories about his golden days as a hunter and fisherman.

The service for Malcolm will be on January 4, 2025 at 11:00 am at Baylor Baptist Church 210 North Preston St. Ennis, TX 75119. Flowers can be delivered to Baylor Baptist Church the day before or the morning of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Malcolm Roy Glaspy to Baylor Baptist Church of Ennis.
