Margaret Lusk Hollingsworth, age 87, passed away peacefully after a short illness on October 2, 2020.
She was born in Bristol, Texas June 24, 1933 to Erastus and Josephine Lusk. She grew up in Bristol, where she met the love of her life, BJ Hollingsworth. They married on September 12, 1950 and spent 68 years together. She and BJ were members of the Cowboy Church of Ennis for over 14 years.
Margaret loved her family dearly, instilling a strong faith in God and the importance of maintaining family ties in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an amazing cook, especially her Sunday dinners. Everyone was welcome at her table, including extended family and friends and their children, who she cared for as if they were her own. She treated everyone as family, even if they weren't blood relatives.
Margaret was a dedicated food sales representative for many years working at the Ennis Middle School Snack Bar, and then the Ennis High School Snack Bar. She also worked at William B. Travis Elementary cafeteria.  She later retired to spend more time at home with BJ and her family. She was proud to be called Mamaw by all children.
She was a mentor to her family and always enjoyed playing a friendly game of Slap Jack, 31 card game, dominoes, Speed, and Go Fish.  She enjoyed Blue Grass and Gospel music and attended many festivals with BJ, friends and family across Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
Margaret is survived by four sons and five daughters-in-law: Stacie Hollingsworth; Jerry and Kim Hollingsworth; James and Teresa Hollingsworth; Larry and Ronda Hollingsworth; and Roger and Kathleen Hollingsworth. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; Jason Hollingsworth and wife, Shellie; Christopher Hollingsworth and wife, Kimberley; Christy Taylor and husband, Eddie; Cody Hollingsworth and wife, Cari; Justin Hollingsworth and wife, Amy; Derek Hollingsworth and wife, Kristin; Joshua Hollingsworth and Jordan Miller; Ryan Hollingsworth and wife, Amy; Barry Hollingsworth and wife, Mallori; and Brandy Robinson and husband, Cameron. Margaret leaves 26 great-grandchildren, 2 soon-to-be-born great-grandsons, and one soon-to-be-born great-great-granddaughter as a legacy to her name. She is also survived by 1 sister, Judy Hollingsworth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, BJ Hollingsworth; her son, Bobby Hollingsworth; grandchild Corey Hollingsworth; great-grandchild, Kinsley Taylor; 5 brothers and 1 sister.

In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests donations in Margaret's memory be made to the Cowboy Church of Ennis.

Visitaiton will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
