Marian Grace Sills Jones, 91, completed her service to the Lord here on earth and went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in Bristol, Texas.

Marian was born in Ennis, Texas, on August 30, 1931, to Thomas Jefferson and Myra Helena (Allen) Sills. Marian grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1949. On October 14, 1949, Marian married the love of her life Roland Jones, and they made their home in Bristol.

Marian worked for Republic Bank as a Trust Agent for many years. Marian was a member of Caring Hands of Bristol, Anthony Drive Baptist Church, and the Joy Group of Anthony Drive. Marian enjoyed watching sports and going to band concerts with her grandchildren and anything involved with her beloved grandkids. Marian enjoyed baking, canning, and traveling. Marian was always a welcoming hostess and a loving Christian example.

Marian is survived by her daughters: Renee Davis and Carol Wilcox; grandchildren: Carly Collins, Rusty Collins and wife, Sharon, SSG USAF Seth Wilcox and wife, Desarea, Nathan Wilcox and Noah Wilcox; six great-grandchildren; her beloved caregiver, Maria Anguiano and a host of extended family and friends.

Marian is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of sixty-nine years, Roland Jones, son-in-law, Jay Davis; siblings: Fletcher Sills, Allen Sills, Aubrey Sills, Lucille Tripp, Jenny Walters, Libby Nichols and Betty Clark.

The family would also like to thank the staff of Bristol Hospice for their compassionate care and true professionalism.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Matt Walker and Rev. Dave Futral officiating. Pallbearers will be Rusty Collins, Seth Wilcox, Nathan Wilcox, Noah Wilcox, Greg Harrison and Joe Allen Clark. Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
