Husband, Dad, Pops, Uncle and Friend

Mark Wayne Walters left this earth for his Heavenly home on June 23, 2026. He was a beloved Husband, Dad, Pops, Brother, Uncle, and Friend.  He was, most importantly, a child and servant of God.

Mark was born in Dallas, Texas to Clarence Randall and Norma Elizabeth Bell Walters. He spent his younger years in Lancaster, TX before moving to Palmer – where he met his soulmate and wife of 40 years – Robin Robinson Walters. They were married on March 29,1986. They spent their life in Palmer – raising two beautiful daughters and becoming Pops and Goey to 4 precious grandchildren,

Mark graduated from Palmer High School and received his associate's degree from the National Institute of Technology.

Mark worked in the medical equipment business before starting his own company, Walters Healthcare Resources. Mark was an inventor at heart and used his extensive knowledge in the healthcare equipment field, not only to operate a successful business, but to acquire 2 patents (with another pending) to revolutionize the operating room industry.

Mark continued his business, until passing it along to his children in 2017, during his battle with multiple myeloma. From that point forward, he spent each day focusing on his family. His greatest joy was spending time at his lake house in Greers Ferry Arkansas and sharing his beautiful home with family and friends.

However, Mark's greatest accomplishment was raising two amazing daughters, who have gifted him with two wonderful sons-in-law and 4 perfect grandchildren. Mark and Robin celebrated their 40th anniversary on March 29.

Mark served the Lord faithfully at Grace Baptist (Fundamental Baptist) Church in Palmer as a Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, Bus Driver, VBS worker, and Youth Pastor for many years.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Norma Walters, his second parents, Hallie and Linda Robinson, and his brothers Ricky and Gary Walters.

Mark is survived by his wife of 40 years – Robin Robinson Walters, his daughters and sons-in-law Lindsay and Sam Leal and Katy and Ralph Henry. He leaves behind his precious, perfect grandchildren Rowan Henry, Nora Kate Henry, Sophia Leal and Myles Henry. He is also survived by his brother Randy and wife Linda Walters and Sister-in-law Regina and husband Jason Farish. Also, all of his special nieces and nephews, along with their spouses and children.

Mark's Celebration of Life will be at Grace Baptist Church, 209 W Jefferson Street in Palmer, on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30 am, followed by the memorial service at 11:30. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Walters, Chase Walters, Jason Farish, Colby Cottongame, Kyle Leuty, Christopher Meares, Lemuel Kemp, Chad Wooley, and Jeremy Robinson.

A private burial will be held at the Palmer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Youth and Children's Ministries of Grace (Fundamental) Baptist Church, PO Box 99, Palmer, TX 75152.
