Mary Ann Aguilar Hernandez, 74, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, in Dallas, Texas.

Mary was born in Ennis, Texas on January 23, 1947, to Apolonio and Virginia (Cabera) Aguilar.  Mary grew up in Ennis and attended school in Ennis.  On July 5, 1983, she married Manuel Hernandez and they made their home in Dallas.

Mary worked for Marlic for three years as a caregiver and for Proline for twenty years on the assembly line.  When Mary wasn't enjoying time with her family she enjoyed playing computer games.

Mary is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Manuel Hernandez; sons: Diego Vasquez, Joseph Vasquez and Juan Vasquez; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Ricky Aguilar; sisters: Delfina Madrigal, Rosie Aguilar and Dorothy Aquino along with a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Apoloino Aguilar, Jr. and Roy Robert Aguilar; son, James Robert Vasquez; great-grandchildren: Avianan Munoz and Jaycen Munoz and grandson, Jesse Diego Vasquez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

Mass of the Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
