Mary Helen Allen, 86, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Mary was born in Ennis, Texas, on September 9, 1935, to Carl and Dixie (Beauchamp) Owens. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1954. Mary married Robert Hay in 1955 and they made their home in Ennis.

Mary worked for the City of Ennis for over twenty years as the Administrative Assistant for the City Manager.  Mary enjoyed reading and fishing.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Patti Keller; grandson Zachary Keller and wife, Arielle; great-grandchildren: Maddie Keller, Skylar Keller and Evie Keller along with a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Robert Hay, and W. T. Allen; son Jeff Hay and great grandson, Adam Keller.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Myrtle Cemetery with Phyllis Stewart officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
