Mary Yvonne Brazier (Bit), 86, passed away peacefully in her home in Ennis, TX on Friday April 5,2024.

Yvonne was born in Dallas, Tx on June 22,1936 to Stanley and Cora (Brown) Bennett. She was raised in Irving, TX where she attended high school and graduated in 1954. In March of 1956 she married Charles Wayne Brazier and they made their home in Irving, Tx and then later in Telico, Tx just outside of Ennis.

Yvonne enjoyed being surrounded by her friends and family. Yvonne was a member of the Telico Church for many years and the American Quarter Horse Association. She was often found outside her home working her cattle and horses or tending to her yard and flowers. Yvonne worked for many years at T.I. (Texas Instruments) and Ennis Paint prior to her retirement. After retirement she began working part-time as a receptionist for Prosperity Bank; McCarty, Wilson and Mash Attorneys-at-Law, and later H&R Block (Fairfield, Tx) for her sister Billie Ann.

Yvonne is survived by her sister, Billie Ann Hall (Corsicana, Tx); brother Basiel Bennett (Ben Wheeler, Tx), brother Gerald Bennett (Irving, Tx); brother Stanley Bennett (Collinsville, Ak); grandson Joshua Brazier (Ennis, Tx); grandson Justin Brazier (Ennis, Tx); daughter in law Teresa Brazier (Hubbard, Tx); 2 great-grandsons and several nieces and nephews.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her mother and father; Cora and Stanley Bennett; her husband Charles (Chuck) Wayne Brazier; son Stanley Wayne Brazier; and her brother Cecil Bennett (Ben Wheeler, Tx).

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers for taking care of her and to her loving friend Annette Richardson.
