Mary Lee Lynch, 84, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.

Mary was born in Maud, Texas, on May 7, 1938, to Leland and Gladys Odel (Taylor) Copeland. Mary grew up in the New Boston, Texas area.  On October 1, 1955, Mary married Charles Marvin Lynch and they made their home in New Boston before moving to Dallas.

Mary worked for Marilyn Belt and Bags for a short time.  Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and that was the most important job she could have. Mary was a member of Fundamental Baptist Church of Palmer and when they lived in Bethany, LA she volunteered helping the firemen raise funds for the Volunteer Fire Department.

Mary loved quilting and her family will cherish the beautiful hand work as she put love into every stich.  Mary also loved baking for her family and friends.  Her family was the joy of her life especially all her babies.

Mary is survived by sons: Charles David Lynch and wife, Olive, James Paul Lynch and wife, Kathryn and Mark D. Lynch and wife, Tina; daughter, Terry Lee Dunlap and husband, Kenneth; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren: three sisters: Shirley, Billie and Evelyn along with a host of extended family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Charles Marvin Lynch, brother, Kenneth, sisters: Betty and Tressie and great-grandson, Logan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Palmer.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the Fundamental Baptist Church of Palmer with Rev. Gary Miller officiating, under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. Interment will follow at a later date in DFW National Cemetery.
